AIMS
The symposium aims to explore the challenges and opportunities of integrating sustainability principles and practices into engineering education and accreditation. The symposium will bring together academics, practitioners, policymakers, and students from various disciplines and regions to share their experiences, insights, and recommendations on how to foster a culture of sustainability in engineering education and accreditation. The symposium will also showcase some of the best practices and initiatives from different countries and institutions that have successfully implemented sustainability-oriented curricula, pedagogies, assessments, and standards in engineering education and accreditation. The symposium will contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in the field of sustainable engineering education and accreditation, as well as to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
